Obituary for Taylor Marie Towne

Taylor Marie Towne, 26, of Barnwell, SC gained her angel wings on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 due to complications from COVID at Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg.

 Taylor was born on May 10, 1994, the daughter of Tony and Jan Zorn Lambert and the late Rodney B. (Chip) Johnson. She was a 2012 graduate of Barnwell High School and was employed by Enterprise Bank of South Carolina. She attended Seven Pines Baptist Church. Taylor loved the beach and was passionate about sea turtles. Everyone remembers Taylor as a beautiful girl with a smiling face. 

She is survived by her husband, Richard Blake Towne and their son, Richard Mason Towne of Barnwell, SC; Maternal grandparents Dennis and Bonnie Zorn of Allendale, SC; Maternal great grandparents are the late Johnny Zorn and the late Frances Zorn of Barnwell, SC;Great Grandparent Ruth Z. Williams of Allendale, SC; Paternal grandparents R.B. and Alice Johnson of Hartsville, SC; Lydia Lambert of Barnwell, SC;  Brother Austin Hunter Johnson (Shaina) of Aiken, SC; Sister Ashley Huggins (Kenzie) of Hartsville, SC; Aunt Denise Baxley (Shane) of Barnwell, SC; cousins Alee, Baylee, Carlee, Macy of Barnwell, SC. 

Taylor was predeceased by an infant daughter, Olivia Ruth Towne.

 A private family graveside service will be held at Swallow Savannah Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2021 with Mark Watford officiating. Keith Smith Funeral Services in Allendale, SC is in charge of arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made payable to Taylor Towne’s Medical Fund at Enterprise Bank, P.O. Box 389, Barnwell, SC 29812, Attention: Tammy Still or Swallow Savannah Cemetery Fund, 493 Concord Church Road, Ulmer, SC 29849.
